We help small business owners learn what works — and put it to work. Insight 2 Impact NC turns practical education into real results for local businesses.

Our approach

All of our programs and efforts are grounded in the Ice House Entrepreneurial Mindset principles. We teach and model these principles in every course, workshop, and partnership.

What we do

• Small Business Training: eight short, hands-on courses on customers, operations, finance, people, and growth.

• Innovation Academies (Youth): run with ECU’s School of Entrepreneurship.

• Leadership Workshops: for community and ecosystem partners.

• Mindset for Researchers & R&D: a one-day program that brings commercialization and regulatory awareness into project planning.

How it works

We partner with state and local organizations to bring programs to every county in Eastern North Carolina. Working with local Chambers of Commerce, community colleges, and small business groups keeps learning close to home and connected to a strong regional network. Program fees and scheduling are coordinated with our host organizations — contact us for current details in your county.

Our roots

Insight 2 Impact NC grew out of five years of day-to-day support for local owners at the Pamlico Business Resource Center (PBRC), where we learned a simple truth: education is vital to entrepreneurial success.
